David Bailey Furniture Systems has recently completed work on the Clore Shalom School in Hertfordshire, carrying out major refurbishment works worth approximately £48,000.
David Bailey, utilising more than 30 years of experience manufacturing fitted school and classroom furniture, has refurbished 15 rooms throughout Clore Shalom School which serve years one through six, including classrooms, reception areas and wet areas.
As part of the work carried out by David Bailey for the faith school refurbishment, its operatives arrived onsite before the project began to plan ideas for the areas that needed to be furnished. David Bailey aided in the design of the 15 rooms in question, working in conjunction with members of the Clore Shalom School staff to create an educational environment that is both pragmatic and inspirational.
There were a number of special items required for the project and David Bailey supplied bespoke furniture to suit Clore Shalom School’s requirements. Bespoke storage units were engineered in such a way as to sit with the school’s sloping roofs. Custom-sized bookshelves were also created, as well as bespoke faced sides for base units in a royal and light blue colour scheme to complement the school’s colours.
Other items supplied included worktops, storage trays, double wall units, mobile storage units and stainless steel sinks.
The work was planned in advance and carried out during half-term by six fitters to minimise any disruption.
Sheree Oxenham, Head Teacher at Clore Shalom School, said: “I was in school most of the week the refurbishment work was being carried out and I was very impressed with the hard working, helpful and polite attitude of David Bailey’s staff.
“I left before the final clear up on Friday, but returned to find David Bailey had left the rooms spotless. I’m really pleased with the fitted furniture that was installed; it looks great around the school.”
