Take a virtual tour of David Bailey's education furniture

David Bailey Furniture Systems has revealed the latest addition to its education furniture portfolio with an online virtual tour of fitted college furniture at West Thames College in West London.

The state-of-the-art technology takes viewers on a tour of the college’s new art classroom and teaching kitchen which has been given a new lease of life with fitted furniture from David Bailey Furniture Systems’ Education range.

The £128,650 installation of fitted college furniture included 600 metres of worktops, plus units and shelving in a harmonious contrast of vibrant and muted colours, transforming the college refurbishment. The project, worth an initial £117,984 with a further £4,674 allocated for the under-bench units and a further £5,995 for the coffee shop counter, was brought to David Bailey Furniture Systems directly by contractors Atlantic Contracts.

Ryan Hayes, Senior Buyer at Atlantic Contracts, said: “When sourcing products to complete a contract we look for quality goods, reliable service and, of course, value for money. If we get it wrong it is our reputation on the line. David Bailey Furniture Systems fit the bill on all fronts giving impeccable service and delivering on time when required, therefore enabling us to complete the contract in a timely manner, while providing a quality finish which we could all be proud of. It’s good to know that David Bailey Furniture Systems provides furniture for other sectors too. We know who to approach next time.”

Trevor Gillman, Managing Director of David Bailey Furniture Systems Limited, commented: “It is wonderful to be able to add West Thames College to our portfolio of education furniture projects. The unusual part of the college furniture installation contract was making the ‘rise and fall’ worktops and sinks in line with guidelines from the Developmental Disabilities Association (DDA). However, the versatility of our Education range of fitted furniture means that it is suitable for application in educational establishments of varying scales and requirements.

“As anyone who views the virtual tour on our website can testify, the end result looks great.”
